For my Classic, Hybrid and Volume fills, at least 40% of your extensions must remain. If you’re below that, choose a full set. If you’re unsure how much is left, ask before booking instead of trying to make a precise count in the mirror.
The right appointment starts with the extensions you have now. Here’s how the options on the lash extensions menu fit together.
A full set and a fill have different starting points
A full set is the starting appointment for extensions. A fill is a follow-up for an existing set that meets the booking requirements. I list separate Classic, Hybrid and Volume versions of both.
That means there are two things to check: which type of set you have, and whether enough extensions remain for a fill. If you have a Classic set and at least 40% remains, choose Classic Fill. The same goes for Hybrid and Volume.
If you don’t know the style of your current set, it’s worth clarifying that first. And if you want a different style this time, ask which appointment to choose rather than assuming a fill includes a change of style.
The 40% rule is about what remains
It’s easy to focus on how long it has been since your last appointment. For a fill, though, at least 40% of your extensions must still be there.
A recent appointment doesn’t automatically mean a fill is the right booking. This guide doesn’t set a fixed number of weeks between fills.
When asking for help, useful details include the date of your last appointment, the set you booked, and whether you’re seeing a few gaps or much more of the set missing. You don’t need to turn that into a perfect percentage yourself.
Mini Fill has its own booking condition
Mini Fill is for a little touch-up and must be booked within a week of your last appointment.
If you’re looking at Mini Fill because your preferred fill time isn’t available, check with me before choosing it. Matching the appointment to what you need matters more than picking an open slot.
Coming from another lash artist?
Book the fill you need and add Foreign fill. This is an addition to a fill, so selecting it alone doesn’t book a complete refill.
If you’re also unsure about your current style or how much remains, ask me before booking. You can find the next step through Visit & FAQs.
If missing extensions come with eye irritation or other eye symptoms, seek advice from an eye care professional. UHealth’s ophthalmologist-reviewed guidance explains why symptoms after extensions need attention.
